Jamie
Jamie began his career in hairdressing at 16, initially training at Vidal Sassoon before going on to work across a number of leading salons. His career later moved into session work, working across fashion, editorial and advertising while continuing to work closely with private clients.
Now at Wylde Bird Bohemia, Jamie brings that experience into a more natural and considered approach to hairdressing, with a focus on precision cutting, natural texture and certified organic colour and haircare. It’s an evolution of his work that puts beautiful hair alongside a more conscious way of working.
Michelle
began her hairdressing journey five years ago,
choosing to retrain after a career as a DSL within the school system. A talented all-round hairdresser, she has a particular love for colour and creating natural, beautifully considered results.
A long-time local and a familiar, much-loved face in the community, Michelle brings warmth, intuition and a genuine understanding of people to everything she does.
Jose
Jose began his career in Toronto with MAC Cosmetics before moving to London, where he worked alongside Charlotte Tilbury and became a regular backstage at the shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris. Alongside fashion, he built a career in editorial and advertising, working across a wide range of beauty and fashion brands.
After setting up Wylde Bird Bohemia with his partner Jamie, Jose wanted to bring the experience and products he had discovered throughout his career into the shop. He fell in love with Manasi 7 for its natural, effortless, no-makeup approach to beauty and its considered ethos. Alongside Manasi 7, Jose has selected products he genuinely uses and believes in, both in his professional kit and at Wylde Bird, with a focus on clean, vegan and more sustainable beauty.
